Kim Philpotts – Founder/Trustee (FT)
Lead Nurse & Clinical Services Manager for WMYDMYB
Kimberley Philpotts is a Registered Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Kim set up the group in 2013 after having a son born with PVL which led him to have multiple problems.
The success of her hard work and sheer determination has landed her with two national awards & five local awards.
She is extremely supportive to the families and runs this around her working hours as a nurse and raising two boys one with disabilities. She loves to work with families and children seeing them smile and enjoy all aspects of life.
- Kim also manages medical and safeguarding needs for the centre.

Kim runs the charity alongside her role as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in general practice and urgent care services.
Kassie – Centre SEND Playworker
Kassie has 8 years of experience working with children 0-10. She also has a keen interest in increasing her knowledge and experience of working with SEND children. She is one of our administration assistants and a bank playworker, carrying out her role alongside her PGCE Primary course at university.

Sophie – Project Manager
Sophie joined the charity back in 2021 as a retail volunteer and quickly became our shop manager, after our shop closed she took a new role as our Project Manager. Sophie has a wealth experience in special needs and is extremely committed to supporting the children and their families.

Niki Started at the Charity in 2016 as a volunteer and has since developed into a paid postion. Niki is passionate about Working with SEN children seeing them thrive and have fun.

Lorraine is responsible for the daily running of the centre, offering a friendly warm welcoming face to our families.

Bruno – Charity Supporter
Bruno is by far the coolest of the gang, you will find Bruno (maybe snoozing) in the office with the girls, he also tags along to the occational charity event to help support the children and the team.

Responsible for helping with the garden and facilities. Also health & safety operations lead.

Tracey Volunteers over 40hrs a month alongside her Job in social care.
Scott – Volunteer
General DIY & Youth support worker, supports management in helping with vital duties such as DIY, trips for the children and being that extra helping hand.
